Sardines on Toast

A little taste of the Med with an added boost of Omega 3. What’s not to love?

INGREDIENTS

1 slice of Burgen Soya and Linseed bread
3 sardines in olive oil
20-25g walnuts, roughly chopped
Drizzle of balsamic vinegar and a few torn basil leaves, to serve (optional)

METHOD

1.
Toast the bread and then top with the sardines. Mash them in with a fork.
2.
Add the tomatoes and walnuts. Finish with a drizzle of balsamic vinegar and some torn basil.
